They did this back in December 2014, and we know Google is constantly testing user interfaces, so this should come as no surprise. Google removes special presidential candidates box that omitted Trump

Just up to a couple hours ago, a search for [presidential candidates] in Google did not return the Republican nominee, Donald Trump, in the list. Instead it showed Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders from the Democratic party and Jill Stein from the Green Party. It omitted Donald Trump from the Republican party. Google to launch new voter registration search tools & live-stream conventions on YouTube

Google announced today it would be launching new voter registration search tools this coming Monday, July 18. Report: EU responding to Google antitrust search-quality defense with new objections
